Was... kind of disappointing, actually. I only really go to these things for two reasons- 1. To get nerd stuff cheaply and 2. To see the cool cosplay. Sadly, the dealers this year weren't very good. Not if you didn't want to buy autographs or props. Also, the stuff was a bit expensive, but I suppose that's the recession for you! But I met some really nice people and saw some really cool cosplays.

And yes, I saw two Hetalia cosplayers!

This was taken from the queue to get in- it actually ended up looping around twice. Luckily the thing moved quite fast, and anyway, we British are natural queuers.

I actually had no idea who this guy was supposed to be, but he gets an A for effort. Anyone with any ideas please let me know! I felt kind of bad asking for a picture and not knowing who he was. :p

A Vault Dweller from Fallout! This guy was awesome, even if he got positive karma by letting me take his photo when he was aiming for negative. I suspect he went and stole some things to even out his balance later. /Fallout 3 nerdery.

LADY REBEL PILOT YEAH! Getting this pic was kind of embarassing because as you can see, all the guys with her thought that I wanted a picture of all of them so they ALL posed! They all looked great, but she was my fave.

There were approximatley eighty bajillion Ghostbusters at the con- they were only outnumbered by the Narutoes (Narutii?) and, weirdly, Tenth Doctor cosplayers. There was even a squad in the cafe down the road where I had lunch! FG73 (who was there with me) thought that they might be having an event. I like to think that they all just showed up wearing the same thing. :p

(Regarding the Doctors, I rounded into a corner and walked into about five guys ALL dressed as Ten. It was brain-breaking in the extreme)

Speaking of the Doc, here's his dog! They had a whole bunch of old Who props and you could sit in a Dalek if you paid a tenner. Tight-ass that I am, I passed. Daleks freak me out anyway.

Heeeeeee. Doctor Horrible and Captain Hammer! So. Cool.

I saw two or three Vampire Knight cosplayers but I only got a pic of this guy. The uniform always impresses me when I see it in real life because it's so freaking detailed- and the guy's uniform especially has all that jewellery. So mad props to you, VK cosplayers.

Hellboy cosplayers! There was even a Joenen (sp?) Kraus walking around, who I didn't ask for a photo because he was really scary okay.

Okay, I hear you all say, but what about what we're really here for? Where are the Hetalia cosplayers?

Well, that's what I was thinking. I walked around for AGES and I saw no Hetalia love at all until I was browing the Tokyopop table and my eye caght a flash of Union Jack. I looked up and thought I recognised a certain pair of bushy eyebrows... And I met THESE GUYS!

ENGLANDS! Who were really cool and very tolerant of me squealing at them and SPRINTING around the side of the table to ask for a picture. Apparently I was the first person to recognise them- which explains the lack of Hetalianess, I guess. But they really did make my day :D

Thanks for looking, I promise I will lay off the photos for a while now :p
