So, I don't write much Doctor Who fic, considering, and there's a good reason for it: basically every once in a while episodes come along that satisfy everything I would put into a fanfic. The Girl Who Waited was basically everything I have wanted about Amy and Rory, forever. It did all the showing to Moffat's telling about the Pond marriage. I have so many feelings. SO MANY.

I turn 21 today! Making this post now because I'm ALSO traveling home to attend the usual circus of family members that descends upon my house at the slightest opportunity. So it seems unlikely that I'll be online much over the weekend, though I'll try and grab time when I can. And of course if I get anything especially awesome you can all expect a big ol' pimp post. :P

However, I ALSO want to mark the fact that it's been roughly a year since I got into fandom properly. (fandom birthday?) This time last year, I didn't have an (active) journal, I'd quit lurking in Avatar fandom, and it had been years since I'd written any serious fanfiction. Most importantly, I hadn't met all but one of the amazing, talented, lovely people now watching this journal (and that other person is very important to me anyway, and I hope she remembers that!). So, I want to say thank you. Thank you all for being my friends, thank you for taking an interest in my creative work, and for the bits of my life that I've shared online. If I owe Hetalia fandom anything, it's you guys. Here's to another year!
