My Very Deep Thoughts on the Doctor Who Christmas Special, after the cut!
- I was impressed with now not-silly the fish swimming around in the fog were. I thought that they were handled really well and made the planet feel very much like an alien world.
- The sets and costumes were GORGEOUS! Really steampunky without going over the top.
- Arthur Darvill FINALLY got into the opening credits ajskfkgml
- On a related note, Amy and Rory's costumes being for honeymoon sexytimes was pretty much the most awkward and hilarious thing ever.
- Stephen Moffat loves his timey wimey plots, doesn't he? I really hope we're going to see more of this, it's super interesting.
- 'I wear it and I don't care. That's why it's cool'. OH ELEVEN. FLAILING FOR EVER.
- I ADORED the story. Obviously I must be a big sap because I had to work very hard not to cry in front of my whole family at the end when Catherine Jenkins was singing.
- 'Halfway out of the dark' is one of the best ways to describe Christmas and Doctor Who that I've ever heard.
- DAT TRAILER. IS IT SERIES SIX YET?
